Role Overview
As Deputy Manager in Design and Print, you will play a pivotal role in creating and managing seasonal concepts and designs for apparels under the Madura Fashion and Lifestyle business unit (Peter England brand). You will coordinate with designers, sourcing teams, and merchandisers to finalize collections and ensure alignment with market trends and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal concepts and range presentations in collaboration with brand and design teams.
- Conduct market surveys to track competitive trends and category evolution.
- Prepare detailed specifications and artwork for samples and ensure accurate handover to sampling merchandisers.
- Drive innovation in garment design, fabrics, styling, and fits.
- Engage with customers to understand needs and address complaints with support from the head office.
- Monitor collections and outlet performances to ensure business goals and collections targets are met.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in apparel design and print development.
- Proficient in Print Design, Design Concepts, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, CAD, and Textile Designing.
- Strong skills in sketching, artwork, packaging design, and fashion illustration.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
